Kahn Howard J OD
9247 Old Keene Mill Rd Burke, VA
Great doctor! Dr. Kahn is very professional and his level of service is something really hard to find now. You can tell he cares about his patients and really has a passion for what he does. His eyeglass selection is nice, he does not give a hard sell but his prices were as good or better than the mall type places. And he fits them himself. If you want really personal service, go to Dr. Kahn!
Kapoor Ritu OD
47010 Community Plz Ste 150 Sterling, VA
Best place I have found to get vision checked. Small office, but doctor's know what they're doing and take the time for each and every patient. Same great service as a big office boutique, minus the hassle. Dr. Kapoor and her staff doctor have been seen me and I have been satisfied with my results. Repeat appointments for follow ups when anything doesn't feel right is always accepted.
I should have chosen them when I began wearing glasses and contacts and saved myself much frustration and pain.
Kemp Mill Optical
1347 Lamberton Dr Silver Spring, MD
I've had one nightmare of an experience after another with opticians but thanks to Dr. Ly and her staff that all seems to be over. Dr. Ly is knowledgable and personable - taking the time to explain every detail. Maria, who works in the store, was lovely - from when I made my appt on the phone to fitting me with glasses. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Thank you Dr. Ly...I will be back!
My family and I have been going to Kemp Mill Optical for at least 15 years (this includes when they were in White Oak Shopping Center). We have always been very impressed by the high quality care provided by Dr. Ly. She is especially good with children and my girls have always felt very comfortable being examined. The store has a good selection of frames. We also appreciate that the practice never seems to be behind schedule -- appointments are always on time. This is a big issue for me so I really appreciate it. The prices are very competitive and I also like supporting independent businesses.
We went to Kemp Mill Optical (KMO) a few years ago because it was so convenient for us. The experience was somewhat neutral. The doctor was pleasant and the staff was all right. You select your frames in the store and they send them out to be made. KMO doesn't accept our vision insurance and we decided to use an optician in our plan for our recent check-up instead (I reviewed new doctor separately). After we ordered our new glasses my husband asked the doctor to adjust his old pair. The doctor was puzzled and asked if my husband had gotten the glasses from their office. No, my husband said from somewhere else. The doctor said the glasses did not have a bezel, which they should, and he had never seen anything like that before. My husband had problems with the lens popping out over the years and now we know why. Hopefully, KMO has found a better lab to manufacture their eyeglasses, but this is a mistake that should have been caught by the staff.
Great doctor and staff. Very customer service oriented. Highly recommend.

Dr. Kolsky is very good. He is caring, he has incredibly solid credentials. He calmed me down as I was stressed and upset. I trust him and would recommend him strongly. He also accepts insurance.
Karickhoff John R MD PC
Falls Church City, 313 Park Ave Falls Church, VA
This gentleman has a long history of inventions and pioneering research. Today I traveled all the way from NY to treat my large eye floater. Only 3 Doctors I know through research treat eye floaters. Dr karickhoff is one of them. Others folks are in FL and CA. He knows exactly what he is doing and reduced mine by 80%. Very nice man. Clean professional office... wish other Dr. would follow his lead in this field. Why so very few treat eye floaters?
